A Student SmartRider is the cheapest and easiest way to way to travel on the Transperth network. Your Student SmartRider is the
only way to access your student fare.
If you forget to add value to your SmartRider or your SmartRider isn't working, then you will need to buy a paper ticket from the bus driver or one of the ticket machines.
If you leave your SmartRider at home, then you may be asked to pay a full fare. So make sure you always keep it in your bag!
Remember you could get a $100 on the spot fine if you don't have a valid ticket.
If you have lost your SmartRider or it is faulty, drop by Student Services to arrange a new one.
