As detailed in the July newsletter, on the 16th August, we have invited Suzanne Bailey from The Interview Guide (www.theinterviewguide.com.au) to run a two hour workshop to assist all students with their, resume, cover letter & interviewing skills to empower our students when they start applying and interview for jobs.  Students will be actively involved in:

• Understanding the power of their personal brand - resume, cover letter & personal presentation;
• How to answer phone screen and interview questions;
• How to prepare and dress for an interview;
• Take part in  a group interview and receive one on one feedback;
• Why we conduct reference checks and who to choose; and
• The impact on social media when applying for and starting a job.

The cost is $30 per student, which includes a personally critiqued resume, two hour workshop plus 2G memory stick with hints, tips & links.
