Student Council

The Student Council is a group of students, elected from Years 9, 10, 11 and 12 by their peers, to represent their interests within the school community. Students are encouraged to present their views, ideas and visions for the school, to their year representatives who bring them to the weekly meetings for discussion. The teacher representative then brings these ideas to the Administration for approval, before they are put into action.

The Student Council actively promotes school improvement, assists with whole school programs and supports fundraising for World Vision, 40 Hour Famine and other charities.

The Student Councillors are regularly invited to represent the school at local functions, and are offered the opportunity to attend leadership training courses throughout the year.
